Visit the Georgia Guidestones with us:
The Georgia Guidestones are a granite monument erected in 1980 in Elbert County, Georgia. A set of ten guidelines is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient language scripts.
Seated at the highest point in the entire county, the monument was precisely engineered to track the movements of the sun and stars. Depending on where they stand and which slots or holes they peer through, visitors can see the sunrise during an equinox or solstice or locate the North Star.
